Change takes place in 5 stages, this is is the first blog of many on the stages of change. Anyone seeking a better life will find they need to make some sort of change to accomplish the happiness they seek. Change does not occur all at once, instead change processes through steps. They are precontemplation, contemplation, preparation, action, and maintenance. The first stage of change is precontemplation in which an individual may not be thinking of changing, or even feel they need to change. Often in this stage if others mention they need to change, they may even defend their reason for not needing to change. Even though an individual may not know or admit they need to change it is a the precontemplation stage the seed is planted and the possibility to moving to contemplation stage begins…..
